Certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist,Certified Focusing Trainer

Personal Statement

I’m a qualified BACP registered Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience. I am passionate about Focusing and have experienced the life-changing and life-enhancing impact of it for myself in my own life.

If you’re looking specifically for Focusing-Oriented Therapy, this is my speciality. I have many years of experience in guiding clients inwardly to connect with their inner world of feelings, emotions, ‘parts’, and their felt sense. In enabling clients to connect with themselves in this way, I can help them to find understanding, meaning, and steps forward in their lives. I work in a relational way, listening deeply and non-judgementally to the client’s experience, and checking my understanding of their experience. I do not give advice or interpretations, but rather help the client to find their own answers and understanding that comes from their attuning to their bodily felt sense.

Whatever the difficult issue is in your life, Focusing is a powerful way to move forward in a way that feels right for you and goes at your own pace. I have worked with clients with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, trans issues, ADHD, HSP (highly sensitive person), psycho-somatic issues, difficult childhood experiences, boarding school syndrome, relationship issues, work related stress, and lots more.

I offer regular weekly sessions for Focusing-Oriented Therapy and adhoc or regular Guided Focusing sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes. I offer online sessions via Zoom, phone sessions and in-person sessions.

I am the director of Inner Focus Limited, a company in England dedicated to providing Focusing and Focusing-Oriented Therapy for individuals and organisations. At various times I offer courses and workshops in Focusing at Inner Focus’ premises in Norfolk, UK. I also travel within the UK to organisations to give workshops and training to professionals.
