Rob Collett2

Certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist

Personal Statement

My approach is rooted in the belief we each have an innate capacity for growth and healing that is enhanced through listening with compassionate attention to whatever lies in the depths of our experience. It’s not unusual that while we may know what we could or should do to live our life more effectively, we cannot find a way to make it happen. But a focusing-oriented attuning to whatever lies inchoate within our immediate experience often brings a feeling for moving forward, of fresh air and genuine relief. This is surely the royal road of effective therapy, and always a unique journey that is a privilege to accompany and facilitate in my clients.
