Personal Statement
I started working as a therapist 15 years ago and my path has lead me threw transpersonal and existential trainings and worldviews, which still “in-form” my way of working in psychotherapy. I guess I could say that I have been sustained by an awe regarding the immense experiential river of my being-in-the-world, notwithstanding the limits and the possibilities implied in our existence, factual or personally perceived. But things like looking at the stars, walking in nature, holding a baby or having and encounter with someone or something at a relational depth, have always propelled in me into this kind of a wonder and exploration. I also felt how our acculturated phenomena and the adjustment to the “human world” can sometimes alienate us from this experiential river and eventually from ourselves. Finding Focusing was the best gift I could receive from Life. It is for me a singular, authentic, natural and sustainable way of considering the “information” that is present in this experiential river. For me it is like an “Invisible umbilical cord” that connects and allows us to interact with Life within a deepened level of awareness. The vision that I hold about my work is to facilitate people into this encounter and even to share Focusing beyond the therapeutic space and into a community level.
