Personal Statement
Elizabeth Baring, MS, ATR-BC, LCAT, NCPsyA, LP, is a licensed psychoanalyst, a licensed creative art therapist, sandplay practitioner, and a focusing oriented therapist. For 20 years she has had a private practice in New York City, working with children and adults with a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties by combining sandplay, creative arts therapy, and focusing with traditional psychotherapy. Elizabeth worked at Mt. Sina Sliver Hill and Stamford Hospitals. She is a member of the educational support team at the Brooklyn Waldorf School and a faculty member and supervisor at the Training and Research in Intersubjective Self Psychology.
