POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA/MA IN FOCUSING AND EXPERIENTIAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

The Diploma is a one-year course designed for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who wish to extend their expertise into the area of focusing and experiential psychotherapy. It provides experiential training and a grounding in the theory and philosophy of focusing-oriented therapy. A second Unit, normally taken in the year following the Diploma year, extends the programme to a Masters degree. The programme is directed by Dr Campbell Purton, author of The Focusing-Oriented Counselling Primer (2007) and Person-Centred Therapy: The Focusing-Oriented Approach (2004).
